Revolution Media uses the latest web standards, such as HTML5 and CSS3, while still building sites to be compatible with some of the older browsers. The Mobile Web
The mobile revolution has started and Revolution Media is evolving with it. The web is no longer limited to your desktop, it’s carried around in purses and on belts. Having a strong yet simple mobile presence makes it easier for your users to not just find your site but use your site. Using CSS3 media queries, it allows us to change the websites stylesheets based on the dimensions of your viewpoint: the desktop sees one design, the iPad another design, the iPhone yet another. We test on various devices in house and round out the testing with mobile proxies.

E-Newsletter
Communicating with customers, prospects and stakeholders is increasingly a challenge. Providing relevant and timely information that will be viewed is difficult to coordinate through traditional communication mediums. Revolution Media have developed an Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) communication platform that allows our customers the flexibility to create dynamic HTML e-mail which can be forwarded to multiple recipients. Using our proprietary CMS tool, customers can create dynamic newsletters which include timely content and custom uploaded images; providing visually appealing and relevant information in the target audiences e-mail inboxes.
The power of the application is not in the ease of use or effectiveness of the distribution, but the back-end reporting. Newsletter editors can now track how people respond to the newsletter, what links are of most interest, who opens the document, who forwards the information, who opts out of the communication, etc. This data can be used to segment the mailing list database and begin profiling and offering customized and relevant content allowing receipts to opt into permission marketing campaigns. Calendar of Events
The CMS Calendar of Events will allow publishers to detail, title, date, time, location, contact and description of the event. This will be graphically displayed on an Interactive calendar enabling visitors to click on a date and display the details of the events including optional registration, payment and confirmation of registration. The CMS tool is capable of displaying recurring events to ease the burden of data entry. This Calendar can include an option to empower multiple publishers, so their approved content can be displayed in real time.
News
Maintaining a content relevant site in a timely manner, involving content creators and publishers has been difficult for many organizations. Revolution Media has addressed the disconnect between the creator and publisher, by placing the ability to publish Internet content in the hands of the content creator. RM’s news tool enables the non-technical client to publish content in real time, by completing an online form. The powerful CMS formats the content and publishes optimized content to the site, while retaining the design integrity. The news article will be posted to the news section of the site, as well as most recent articles appearing on the main page.
Photo Gallery
This tool allows the user the ability to upload images and publish them to the web site. Built in image control features include image manipulation, compression and resizing; these controls are programmed to occur automatically and do not require any knowledge of file formatting by the end user. The addition of an image/photo gallery will support the emotional connection with the visitor and the message.
Online Registration
The site will have the ability for users to register on-line for various activities. These registration forms will be custom created by the non-technical user and be linked to a user-defined email address. This will provide the flexibility for various stakeholders to utilize the technology. The flexibility to register on-line will be coupled with the ability to make payment on-line as well as an email confirmation of registration.
Business Directory
Revolution Media have created custom Business Directories for various clients. This component usually is custom development as client needs vary. The custom developed solution will include all current data, including NAICS codes, but will also include valuable interactive capabilities for the business community.
